The Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (MoWECP) underwent an organizational restructuring pursuant to Presidential Regulation No. 7/2023 to strengthen the delivery of victim protection services. This restructuring established the Directorate of Services for Women Victims of Violence (Pelayanan Perempuan Korban Kekerasan/P2K2), mandated to provide final referral services for women victims of violence and specialized services for children requiring protection, thereby enhancing institutional capacity and improving integrated support mechanisms.
